fitness for the results.

High-performance
High-performance is one of the three main purposes of fitness where success is simply defined by reaching a desired level of performance. It involves following the right process for long enough to get the desired results. In fitness, it means moving in the right way, with the right stress, in the right amounts, with enough recovery, to cause the necessary improvements over the right amount of time for the specific goal.
High-performance success = disciplined repetition of an effective process
All results require consistent time and purposeful effort towards a desired outcome. The greater the level of results, the greater the level of process needed to reach them. This involves more time, more effort, more consistency and therefore more overall dedication to the process.
There are no shortcuts…
It takes what it takes.
fitness performance success
Successful fitness results, just like all results, are simply the natural outcome of consistently following the right process for long enough to reach the goal.
Unfortunately, the fitness industry sells high-performing fitness as the norm to the general population. Do not take what you see on social media and in fitness magazines lightly. Achieving a high level of fitness requires so much more than just following the perfect program for 12 weeks. It requires manipulating all areas of life to allow consistently training hard and recovering harder for years/decades.
Athletes, fitness models, professional performers and anyone else who take their physical craft to the highest level all lead a life dedicated to purposeful training specific to their niche as well as specific recovery methods to keep them performing to a high level. High level performance is only for those who want to take a craft/skill to it’s highest levels which usually requires a lifetime to develop. It governs how you think, feel and act every day to drive all of your behaviours towards achieving a desired level of performance.
All fitness results require the same fundamental process, but the level of that process dictates whether you achieve running your first 5km or a marathon, competing in sport recreationally or professionally, lifting 10kg pain free or lifting 500+kg for a world record, losing 3lb of body fat or becoming a fitness model. The greater the level of performance, the greater you will need to level up your fitness process over time.
Successful manipulation of training and lifestyle to achieve a desired level of performance.
High-performing fitness success is simply defined by achieving your desired level of fitness results. The greater the desired results, the greater the overall life investment into the fitness process.
Training for high-performance results requires a lot more than what I have laid out in the fitness section and if you want high-performing results, you need to see a high-performing coach specialising in your desired field. High-performing fitness results can also take their toll on life and why they shouldn’t be pushed onto the general population.

As I work with the general population, I always prioritise health and happiness above fitness performance for clients. There can be a time and a place for sacrificing short-term health and happiness to achieve a specific result, just be aware of the potential consequences before making that choice. I would refer out to another fitness professional for anyone looking specifically for high performing fitness results.
